Compost tea is a liquid product that brings microbes back to the soil and leaf surfaces at multiple times throughout the growing season, helping to enrich the soil. Healthier soils make for healthier more disease- and pest- resistant plants.
Compost teas are made by adding quality composts to water to wash the microbes from the organic matter. Then they are fed simple sugars, kelp, and several other inputs so that they can replicate, while the water is being mixed and aerated. This process generates huge numbers of bacteria and fungal networks in a highly concentrated liquid form. At this point, it can be diluted to the required strength and applied to crops. You can spray this on the leaf surface, or apply as a soil drench. There is no N-P-K value (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium; the 3 major macro-nutrients used in fertilizer) to the teas, so there is no risk of overfeeding or ‘burning’ your plants. Teas can be used for every day watering if you choose.

There are no impellers, blades, or bubbles to break apart cell walls or fungal networks, and our brewer uses a natural whirlpool/eddy-motion to replicate nature’s mixing and oxygenation processes.
